ARTinU Creative Services, LLC was founded by Certified Life Coach, Unitra R. Sobers. Unitra is committed to training others on how to begin to go for the types of experiences they envision for themselves. She is committed to her acronym for L.I.F.E. (Let Integrity Fuel Expression). She knows that when we specifically distinguish the things we are committed to in life and have integrity towards them, a road map is then laid out for new behavior patterns to develop and ultimately new experiences begin to take place.
Unitra is a former editor for Time Inc.'s award winning publication, Essence Magazine. She now coaches individuals from various regions of the country and from diverse walks of life - from parents, to pastors, and makeup artists to movie producers. Her insight and brass tacks personality has been used to ignite the desires of many hearts.
She is also a volunteer for the Transition Resource Action Center (TRAC) mentoring youth who are aging out of the system of foster care and entering the world of adulthood. Her studies are in the area of Applied Behavioral Analysis in Psychology, and she is certified in the area of Emotional Intelligence (EI) through the Coach Training Alliance. She has also trained with Dr. Laura Belsten of The CEO Partnership.
The Emotional Intelligence Certification Program is designed to develop, maintain and strengthen the standards of coaching performance for individuals who have successfully completed the requirements of the Emotional Intelligence Profile Certified Coach Program. This certification authorizes Unitra to administer, interpret and provide coaching services related to the Emotional Intelligence Profile assessment instrument, the most comprehensive EI assessment on the market today.
